It blows my mind that Tomorrowland was a box office flop. I get that there was some cheesiness to it and that it could have absolutely been better, but I feel like it was a pretty good movie with a brilliant concept. There is always something that “could have been done” to make it better, but I thought that the movie did what it was meant to.
Tomorrowland wasn’t just entertaining. It was also a wonderful way to bring to light several current world issues in a way that could capture the attention of a wider crowd. It was also an inspiring way to remind the world just because something is 100% sure today, doesn’t mean that it is unchangeable or absolute.
As the quote above says, “Even the tiniest of actions can change the future.” Even if that action is merely a dream or the slightest recovery of hope, nothing is out of reach. And just because something seems impossible, doesn’t mean it can’t be done. Sometimes we just need a reminder, even if it comes in the form of a lame or cheesy Disney movie.
Inspiration can come from anything and anywhere.
