Inspiration can come from anywhere. Whether it is the most unlikely of places, or maybe even an odd place. I have always been a fan of Disney and what I believe was always the true intent. The inspiration to follow your dreams and to always do and be the right thing, no matter the trials you face.
Say what you want, but I would argue that Hercules was one of the better Disney movies ever made. I will not stand here and say that it was factually or mythically accurate. Not even close. That is not the point or my concern.
Hercules sent a message that I believe was intended for all and had no political or financial agenda. It showed that even the greatest can be labeled as an outcast and no matter what your background or heritage, we are all on our own journey of finding where we belong.
Finding where you belong is about finding what you are willing to give everything for because you know that there is no tangible value that can be placed on it. I almost said risk, but I feel like that lessens the value. It implies that you are holding a little back in the hope that things will work out better than you expect.
I say give because that is the “all in” mentality that implies you are OK with it no matter what the outcome. No matter what, it was worth it.
