The Shawshank Redemption is arguably one of the best movies made. It wasn’t action-packed or a special effects masterpiece, but it had all the elements needed to create a phenomenal story. Full of twists, turns, drama, and suspense, you never really knew until the very end where they were going with the plot.
And once The Shawshank Redemption reaches its conclusion, it is beyond satisfying. The cast alone, for me at least, warranted the interest of at least one viewing, but it is one of the more rewatchable movies ever made. Intellect, patience, determination, and faith all come to play in this story.
The Shawshank Redemption, while not really based on a true story, still manages to show a realistic situation and what the mind and body can accomplish with commitment and hard work. It also helps to employ some ingenuity as well, especially under these circumstances.
