I know that it may not seem like the type of movie to be considered motivational or inspirational but for anyone with a spirit for adventure, Captain Ron is full of lessons and philosophies that I consider worthy of notice. It seems like it could be considered ignorance, but there is a certain intelligence in taking action on a whim. There is a sense of fun and enjoyment in not knowing everything.
There is such a thing as overplanning or looking too much into something. There are times when an experience can be made better with minimal or a lack of planning. Captain Ron takes the boat on the ocean with minimal knowledge of the boat or the crew but there is a common belief that you learn faster by doing and you get a better or more accurate sense of what people are capable of when you see them in action.
Plus, Captain Ron is full of mostly clean humor and family-friendly entertainment. There are some action sequences and a couple dirty jokes, but overall, I would consider this to be a family movie. The cast is incredible and by watching this movie, you can tell that they all worked together well. This is a movie I definitely recommend for you and your family.
