Time for some light-hearted entertainment. Finding Nemo was not what I was expecting, but it is one of those movies that ends up being even better than anticipated. I am not quite sure what I expected the first time I saw this movie, but what a trip it was. It had everything you might want from a Disney PIXAR film and then some.
Where do I even begin? For those who don’t know, Finding Nemo is basically summed up by the title. It is an adventure where a father is desperately searching for his son that was stolen from him. Along the way, there are jellyfish, sharks, turtles, seagulls, and all kinds of other sea creatures that all have their own unique contribution to this fun-filled journey.
The cast was incredible and whoever did the writing and animation for Finding Nemo is an undeniable genius. This is one of those rare movies that has something for everyone and is rewatchable. There are so many fun jokes and quotes that it was not easy to pick out which to use for this entry. Though it is one of the more simple quotes, I chose this one for many reasons.
Finding Nemo is a kids movie, sure. That is not all it is though. It is full of life lessons that are applicable to everyone. Life can be hard. Life can be unfair. Things don’t always go the way you want or dream. Sometimes, it seems like there is nothing left or nowhere to go and there are no options. But that isn’t the case. There is always another option. There is always one more thing you can do.
