Teleportation

There are few better ways to teleport then through books and movies. Whether it is audio, hard copy, IMAX or iPhone, there is no better way of seeing new worlds, especially if money is an issue, than these.

You do not need massive stacks of money or gold to go to your nearest thrift store and pick up a new adventure. There is nothing wrong with it. Some of the richest people I know go to thrift stores on the regular.

Plus, you never know what you might find. I found The Chronicles of Narnia at Goodwill for $1.99, meaning that is all I paid for 7 books! Steal! On another occasion, I was fortunate enough to find Mary Poppins: 80th Anniversary Collection at a Salvation Army. I paid $1 for basically 4 books.

Opportunities are out there. They might not be in what you might consider the most “prestigious” of places, but if you don’t put yourself in unlikely places, you won’t find these unlikely, but fantastic, surprises.
